Care
All of our leather designs are made with genuine, high-quality Spanish or Italian leather. Variations in the leather are natural characteristics of this material and should not be considered imperfections. We do recommend taking some care to ensure it lasts longer and remains more beautiful.
Here are some specific tips to keep your bag in top condition and last for years to come:
- Avoid excessive contact with water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics. If the surface gets wet, remove excess moisture with a soft cloth and let it dry at room temperature.
- If it gets very wet, you can stuff it with onion skin paper and let it air dry. Don't use any type of artificial dryer or place it near a heat source to prevent the leather from stiffening.
- For oil stains, apply talcum powder immediately to absorb the oil. After a few hours, carefully remove it with a soft brush.
- Avoid overloading the bag, as this may deform the handle.
- Moisturize your bag at least once or twice a year . Leather needs it to stay healthy and prevent it from weakening. To do this, it's recommended to clean the leather beforehand and use a specific cream to nourish it using a cloth or cotton pad in circular motions. Then, rub gently with a white cloth to make it shine.
- If you're going to store your bag for a long time, stuff it with white paper to prevent it from warping and keep it in its dust bag to keep it well protected.
